Victoria Junior School Inspiring unique, independent, respectful, and confident learners

House Captains

At Victoria Junior School, we believe that everyone needs to experience the duties and responsibilities that come with being a member of a community in order to help you prepare for being a happy, safe and responsible adult.

The role of being a House Captain is a very important role to play in the day to day organisation of our school, and as only Year Six pupils can have one of these positions, it is considered to be very prestigious.  They are, in a sense, junior members of staff and are expected to take their roles seriously.

The positions not only allow the Year Six pupils to lead by example and demonstrate their responsibility, it also enables the younger children to learn from a good example.

Each year 6 child has been monitored carefully and considered for the role of a house captain, however there have been children who have clearly shone through during their time of when they were in years 3, 4 and 5, and so in Year 6 the staff at Victoria would like to recognise their achievement.

In their role, they will have the opportunity to help organise events, represent the school and lead their team in different events.

They will also have a badge to wear, so that everyone can recognise what they have achieved.

Our House Captains for 2019-20 are:
